I like to think that Café Works Ltd is “more than just coffee”, from offering sound advice to selling great equipment, product and innovation, along with other bits and pieces for home, restaurants and coffee shops. We are also working with an established designer for bespoke client solutions, farm shop coffee to go, restaurants and coffee towers just to name a few examples.
Jacques Farmer, owner of Café Works Ltd has over 30 years of experience in supplying integrated vending and hot beverage solutions to customers in all sectors of commerce.
Jacques worked for Sodexo, one of the worlds leading providers of contract catering and Facilities Management for 18 years. His responsibilities ranged from technical services, operations, client account management and business development, managing key clients such as Honda UK Manufacturing and Unilever.
Jacques was also a member of the AVA’s (Automatic Vending Association) technical committee writing an article with Mike Saltmarsh on Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000. Jacques managed the Regulations for Sodexo to achieve 100% compliancy and worked along side major insurance companies to achieve this.
“Wishing to expand my knowledge of coffee, I spent time in London visiting major independent coffee houses in London to gain greater understanding of their business models”.
Jacques is also Licensed to work in coffee services by the Academy of Food and Wine Service.
